We are successful breeders of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, located in Southern California. Mayfair is a fashionable district in London, and home to many beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Each puppy from Mayfair Cavaliers bears a "kennel name" of a street in London, such as "Dewberry," "Linhope," and "Clarges."

In the 1990's, more than 1/2 of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels over six years old had heart murmurs related to mitral valve disease. As a result of this and other disturbing studies, we developed a simple breeding strategy with veterinary cardiologist, Dr. Michael Lesser.

We will not breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels before two years of age and not after 71/2 years All Mayfair Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have their hips x-rayed by an orthopedic veterinarian and registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) at two years.

Eyes and heart must be normal and healthy to be considered for breeding.
